This role provides essential support to our legal department by assisting contract reviews, consolidating feedback, scheduling deadlines, assisting with client communications, and tracking key contractual information. The ideal candidate will work under direct supervision of our General Counsel while gaining valuable experience in the intellectual property and technology sector.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the review of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Data Protection/Privacy Agreements (DPA’s), SaaS Agreements, and other contracts for initial assessment
- Consolidate and organize feedback from internal stakeholders to present clear summaries to the attorney
- Summarize and track key changes and critical contract terms
- Track, enter, and maintain records of important contractual data relevant to insurance, risk management, compliance, and general contract terms
- Assist the attorney with document preparation and administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain organized files and ensure confidentiality of sensitive legal documents
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to gather necessary information for contract review
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; paralegal certificate required
- Experience working with a B2B SaaS company
