Email Verification API

• Improved the identity data used in the identity_data response parameter when performing email address verifications.

IP Reputation Database

• Added data for a new VPN provider to the Proxy & VPN Detection API. IP addresses owned by this provider will now be identified as originating from a VPN.

Device Fraud Risk Reasons API

• Released the Device Fraud Risk Reasons API, which retrieves the current list of reasons a device may be considered risky by the Device Fingerprint API. These reasons correspond to the enums returned in the Device Fingerprint API’s reasons array. You can use this API to programmatically retrieve detailed descriptions of each detected risk factor.

Transaction Risk Reasons API

• Released the Transaction Risk Reasons API, which retrieves the current list of reasons a transaction may be considered risky by the Transaction Scoring API. These reasons correspond to the enums returned in the Transaction Scoring API’s fraud_risk array. You can use this API to programmatically retrieve detailed descriptions of each detected risk factor.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue with the Postback API that caused the ClickDate response parameter to temporarily display as N/A when retrieving recent historical Proxy & VPN Detection API requests.

• Fixed an issue where the IPQS Dashboard would sometimes not return a request ID when looking up historical Phone Number Validation API requests.
